After years of research and development Excalibur introduces their new 150 grain Boltcutter broadhead. This 1-1/16" broadhead has proven itself to be the most accurate hunting head on today’s high speed hunting crossbows, delivering amazing accuracy even at extreme range when teamed with an appropriately designed arrow. The new Boltcutter is made entirely from high strength stainless steel to withstand the hardest hit and still deliver devastating terminal performance.

18-pack Boltcutter Replacement Blades

Our testing found that at velocities over 300 fps down-range accuracy at distances over 25 yards declined when using 100 grain replacement blade broadheads. The solution we found was to increase the "front of center" balance of the arrow, either by increasing the weight of the front insert or by increasing the weight of the broadhead. We chose to increase the broadhead weight since this allows the choice of using lightweight mechanical broadheads for maximum velocity or our Boltcutter broadheads for durability and accuracy with our arrows.

X-Act Mechanical Broadhead

this 100 grain, 1-7/16" cut broadhead is designed for the hunter who wants maximum velocity from their crossbow but refuses to accept less than outstanding accuracy. The X-ACT broadhead’s "Clip Loc" blade control system holds blades securely during a crossbow’s explosive acceleration eliminating the need for "O" rings or rubber bands but deploys the blades reliably on impact. Our testing failed to find a fixed blade broadhead which produced acceptable accuracy in the 100 grain or under class.

EXCALIBUR’S ARROWS are made from the highest quality materials to exact specifications to ensure the best possible accuracy while using broadheads. Made from Series 22 Carbon or Easton XX75 aluminum camo shafts, our arrows are available in both vanes and feather fletch in a variety of colours. NOTE: Excalibur Firebolt arrows do not require the use of nocks and are ready to use as they are supplied, with flat ends. The insert is threaded to allow the use of our #1986 “T” Handle arrow puller. Why Did We Change Arrows? We have been concerned with quality issues for several years with our previous supplier, and when we realized that we had become big enought to have an ideal arrow made specifically for our needs we began shopping. Easton produces our arrows for us with a bit tougher, heavier shaft and we manipulated insert weights to closely match our previous arrow weight. The weight is very conssistant with Firebolt arrows plus straightness is very good and insert adhesion is excellent. We have recently switched to 4" vanes since we discovered that accuracy with them is comparable to the 5" but they reduce overall weight and increase the front of center balance.

Finished in either Realtree Hardwoods HD or Realtree AP HD, the cheekpiece seamlessly snaps in place for either right or left handed shooters and is attached using a single machine screw.

Our deluxe padded case is perfect for storing and protecting your crossbow while transporting in your vehicle or on your ATV. Constructed of heavy-duty nylon self-healing zippers and rugged Realtree camo trimmed 600D Endura fabric. This padded case was designed for years of protection even in the harshest elements.
